10:00 am: There will be low water pressure for some North Greenbush residents throughout this weekend as Troy will be working on repairing a water break - Troy supplies all the water to North Greenbush.

8:00 am: There's a water break in Troy this morning - it's affecting some North Greenbush residents with having no or low pressure. Crews are working on fixing it now.

August 19, 2026 Special Meeting Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that The North Greenbush Fire District No.1 will conduct a Workshop Meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, starting at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held at the Fire District Office located at 350 North Greenbush Road, Town of North Greenbush, NY.

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION

ADOPTED SUBJECT TO

PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on August 10, 2026 the Board of Fire Commissioners of North Greenbush Fire District No.1 duly adopted a resolution, abstracted as follows, subject to permissive referendum:

BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of General Municipal Law 

§6-g that a sum not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) be expended from the Equipment Capital Reserve Fund of the Fire District for the purpose of purchasing multiple command vehicles; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum as provided in Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.

Roads closed: Brookside & Evergreen Lane, Pershing Av, Ridgewood & Peck Road between Rays Way & Pershing 

NYS DOT has closed Troy Ave at Geiser Road 

SANDBAGS are available for pickup at the North Greenbush highway town garage for anyone that needs them!

Town Hall closed today at 9:15 am due to extreme weather alerts and hazardous flooding.
