Welcome to the Town of North Greenbush

The Town of North Greenbush is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Director of Finance to join the Finance Department. This position will work closely with the Town Comptroller and the Assistant Director of Finance to support the day-to-day operations of the Town’s financial and human resources functions.

The Assistant Director and Director will work collaboratively and are cross-trained and interchangeable, providing coverage and support across a variety of responsibilities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Human Resources. Please click here for more details:

NOTICE
SEPTEMBER BUDGET WORKSHOP & MONTHLY MEETING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that The North Greenbush Fire District No.1 will conduct a Budget Workshop on Monday, September 14, 2026, starting at 6:30pm, followed immediately by the September Monthly Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Fire District Office located at 350 North Greenbush Road, Town of North Greenbush, NY.

8/20/26: 
 

4:20 pm:  Water pressure is returning to normal this evening, but please refrain from using sprinkler systems as we try to fill our water tower. We thank you for your understanding and patience throughout this repair.

8:00 am: Troy is still working on the water break; it's a difficult repair as it's under the Poestenkill Creek in a difficult location.  We are requesting that North Greenbush residents please CONSERVE water & not use sprinkler systems unless you have a well. Conserving water will help with water pressure throughout the town. This is out of our control & we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
